Artist & Vendor Rules & Guidelines

Vendors, artists, sponsors, guests, representatives from the industry, as well as those from other cons & organizations.  Failure to follow the guidelines stated on this page may result in removal from future applications.​​

Chizu Con 2026 is open to attendees from 10am-10pm September 19th at the Goodman Center Ironworks and Brassworks. The Artists & Vendors will be located in the Ironsworks the same as previous years.

Approved Applicants agree to have their tables / booths open between the hours of 11am - 7pm. (This was put into effect to provide the attendees and sellers with an overall optimal convention experience.)

Setup will be available from Friday September 18th from 5pm - 7:30pm, and starting Saturday morning at 8:30am. The center will be locked overnight and has security cameras. Carts are available but limited.

If you cannot attend, replacement requests must be placed by June 30th to provide adequate time to confirm a replacement from our approved list can attend. Any replacement requests placed after June 30th could potentially result in the artist or vendor not being approved for future events. 

Purchase of the space includes;

Artists - $50 - 1 badge, 2 chairs, 1 table (6’x2.5’), Assistant badges available for $10 each

Vendors - $140 booth (4 tables), up to 4 badges for Vendors.

2026 CHANGE: ARTISTS CAN RECEIVE A $10 DISCOUNT IF THEY PROVIDE THEIR OWN TABLE (6ftx2.5ft size limit) PLEASE SEE THIS IN OUR APPLICATION.

The sale of any merchandise that violates United States and International Trademark or Copyright Laws is prohibited at Chizu Con. All items must be legally permitted to be sold in North America and the state of Wisconsin.

Chizu Con does not allow the sale of any artificially generated (AI) art.

This includes but is not limited to AI-assisted, AI-generated, and retraced/overdrawn AI works. (This does not relate to program tools such Adobe's auto-fill.)

We also do not allow the sale of 3D printed items unless they were designed directly by the artist, or commissioned by an artist based on their own designs. Original file designs for 3D items may be requested by the Chizu staff to confirm authenticity. 

Food sales are prohibited at the Goodman Center. Prepackaged Novelty snacks, beverages, and candy items are allowed.

Music may be played in a table/booth, volume must be kept at a level which does not disrupt the event. Please avoid music/sounds of an adult nature.

"Adult" 18+ merchandise must be properly marked or censored in a manner that would be appropriate for a family friendly event. Chizu holds the right to request changes to censorship of adult materials at any time. 

Live metals and realistic weaponry, such as steel swords and military gear, are not allowed at the Goodman Community Center. Fantasy gear and foam are welcome. 

We accept credit card payments only. Payments are nonrefundable. If the event is canceled, payments rollover to the following year. If you are unable to attend the next Chizu, you may reach out to chizuconusa@gmail.com for alternative arrangements.

Applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
